Internationally Active Business Associations

• The U.S. Export Assistance Center is part of a vast network of domestic and international offices, staffed by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

• Founded in 1995, the Maryland-China Business Council (MCBC) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to helping Mid-Atlantic companies succeed in the China market. MCBC members include corporations, consultancies, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions involved in a variety of business activities with China. MCBC also welcomes individual members with varied interests in trade with China.

• The Maryland Center China allows Maryland companies to establish their corporate presence in ChinaMaryland China Office and other Maryland organizations interested in China.  Strategically located in both Shanghai and Beijing, China's most economically and politically dynamic cities, Maryland Center is well placed to help Maryland companies gain a foothold in the China market.

• The Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC), a non-profit organization that promotes trade and joint ventures between Maryland and Israeli businesses and research institutions.  MIDC is a partnership between the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade and local Jewish community organizations.

• The World Trade Center Institute offers international business training, global connections, customized consulting, and an extensive global reach via 300 fellow World Trade Centers around the world.
