Electric Rates
Electric prices in the region are quite moderate compared to the rest of Maryland as well as other states. The rates below can be used for general comparative purposes for a mid-sized commercial customer.
The commercial rates of investor-owned utilities in the Greater Baltimore region as of January 2007 are $19,493 per month or $0.13 per kWh (costs are for a 500kWh-150,000 kWh monthly consumption)
In comparison to other states, only two (Illinois and Pennsylvania) have lower rates.
