State and Local Incentive & Financing Programs
The Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development (DBED) provides all of the necessary information regarding tax credit programs, access to capital, and financing resources through the State of Maryland. There are a variety of incentives and financing options to assist your business in the expansion or relocation process.

Venture Capital Resources
The Maryland Venture Fund, started in 1994, is a state-funded seed and early-stage equity fund. The Fund makes direct investments in technology and life science companies and indirect investments in venture capital funds. The Fund has two investment vehicles: the Challenge Investment Program and the Enterprise Investment Fund. Follow the links for more information.
