Southeast Baltimore's Patterson Park neighborhood is nestled between popular Butcher's Hill and thriving Canton, just north and east of the 155 acre park, which was named "Best Park in Baltimore 2002" by the Baltimore City Paper.

The neighborhood is across the street from Patterson Park, one of the nicest parks in Baltimore City. It is 185 acres with a pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and baseball diamonds, as well as scenic paths and the famous Pagoda. Patterson Park is in walking distance to Fells Point and Canton, with easy access to I-83, I-95 and downtown Baltimore. This neighborhood also benefits from close proximity to both Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where many of its residents are employed.

Houses in the neighborhood range from 3 story Victorians built circa 1900-1910 and bordering Patterson Park to two story rowhomes dating from the 1920's on the side streets. Interiors often feature pressed tin ceilings, hardwood floors, stained glass windows, and ornate moldings. Patterson Park homes were originally built in the early to mid 1900s. Three-story parkfront homes are approximately 2,100 square feet and the more modest two-story parkside homes are approximately 1,300 square feet.
