  • BWI set a passenger traffic record for May 2008 with 1.9 million passengers, which is almost 2% higher than traffic in May 2007. 
  • BWI is one of the fastest growing airports in North America—it experienced a record  with 21.5 million passengers 2007 in 2007, ranking 25th nationally.
