Diana Chen brings seven years of economic analysis and research experience to EAGB. Before joining the team, she worked at Rockport Analytics as a consultant where she analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to measure the economic impact of events and destination marketing investments. In previous roles with the Maryland Department of Commerce, Division of Tourism, Film and the Arts, she analyzed the performance of the State’s marketing campaigns and evaluated economic data to understand and quantify the role that the leisure and hospitality and the arts, entertainment and recreation sectors play in Maryland. Prior to joining the Maryland Department of Commerce, she used her analytical skills to evaluate the performance of programs and services delivered by nonprofit organizations in Baltimore. Diana was born and raised in Guatemala and has lived in Baltimore since 2000 when she enrolled as an undergraduate student at The Johns Hopkins University. Diana received both her B.A, M.A and M.S from the same institution.
