Research and Data Analyst

Nick Henninger joins the EAGB as Research and Data Analyst. Henninger is assisting with efforts to collect, organize, prioritize, and disseminate the most valuable data about Greater Baltimore's strategic assets to stakeholders and clients. He brings skills including data collection, statistical analysis, GIS mapping, and strategic analysis from both industry and academic experience.
Henninger is a PhD student in Political Science at Boston University; his current research focuses on mapping economic and political inequalities in urban politics. He received his Master’s degree (MPP in International Development, 2016) and Bachelor’s degree (BA in Economics, 2015) from the University of Maryland. Prior to entering his PhD program, Henninger served as vice president for strategic partnerships at a biotechnology start-up. He has led economic development fieldwork in Guatemala, India, Morocco, and South Africa, and has worked in Washington DC for The World Bank Group and the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. In Baltimore, Henninger previously worked for the Southeast CDC and Sage Policy Group.
Born and raised in Harford County, Henninger is proud to give back to his community and to be a part of Greater Baltimore's continued growth. When not working, he enjoys rooting for the Orioles, enjoying Baltimore's restaurants and artistic venues, and volunteering with local nonprofits. He is recently engaged to a Howard County native.
