BMW Championship nets $53M in economic impact for Greater Baltimore

Exceeding all expectations! Sage Policy Group recently completed a report showing that the BMW of North America, LLC Championship hosted in Baltimore County last year generated more than $53M in economic activity in Greater Baltimore. The four-day Championship attracted more than 100k spectators, drove in $2.7M in tax revenue, supported 440 jobs, and raised a record $5.6M in scholarships for caddies. “It was about showcasing Baltimore, showcasing the state of Maryland, and putting it in a light not a lot of people have been exposed to," Steve Fader, the Caves Valley Club's chairman.
