Coppin State University is Expanding their Focus on Nonprofit Offerings
Supporting the strength and growth of the nonprofit sector in the Region, University System of Maryland's, Coppin State University is offering a major and minor in nonprofit leadership. According to The Daily Record, the nonprofit sector has emerged as the third-largest workforce in the U.S. economy. “We have an opportunity to meet those undergraduate scholars who really want to make a difference. It is a sector. It can be a career of choice, and many people need to be made aware that this is a discipline that they can chose to pursue,” said Coppin State University's Nonprofit Leadership Alliance director, Tenyo Pearl.
